Producing new work at LiF 2026
We've all felt the sting of that rejection email. The truth is, there are often numerous reasons for it – a reality we've experienced ourselves (LIF team) when applying to festivals across the UK and beyond.
Producing new or developing work is a tricky business. It's often still hypothetical, constantly evolving, yet you're eager to share it at a festival. This workshop is your chance to gain crucial insight into what makes you stand out from the crowd, especially if you don't have a long track record at improv festivals.
This won't guarantee success, but it will level up your game.

Participant testimonial. Thanks for today Mark, what you covered really made loads of sense. Whereas before, creating my own piece of theatre previously had felt quite daunting. What I learnt today about how to structure my own improv piece, has given me the confidence to actually develop my own show and not just think about it. Su Jackson - 2024 |
