Who: The Insiders
What: The Fly Where: Unity 2 When: 3pm - Friday the 21st of April Age range: 14+ Socials: Twitter - @TheInsiders2023 Tickets: £5/£7 Day ticket £30 SOLD OUT A bare stage transforms into a visual, verbal and musical feast as ensemble of performers catapult the audience into a totally improvised world. The Fly is not improvisation games, but an entire play improvised quite literally on the FLY. Based on a unique form of spontaneous theatre previously only performed in the USA. Fly’s shares many qualities of an improviser: 1) They can climb on anything using their sticky feet (so feats of physicality) 2) They can see backwards (peripheral vision) 3) They have amazing reactions (speed of thought) 4) They have a liquid diet (this is a joke) 5) They get on your nerves (good scenes) Performed by: Lucy Andrews, Amy Aspinall, Lucy Cleary Quinn, Charles Dubois, Viktoria Krzyzanowska, Jessica McGough-Sheils, Holly Millar, Toby Ratcliffe, Tom Rook, Isobella Rossiter, Holli Wilson and Oliver Wilson. |
